Map of the Day

Have a look here for a shall-we-say inventive map of pre-WWI Europe. Some of the chaacterizations I can follow–Russia-as-bear is simple enough–by why on earth is Algeria portrayed as a giant squid? And why does Greece appear to be part of Serbia? Well, if you get it, let me know.
