Welcome to ‘Hey Zeitgeist.’ This is a venue (clearing house? dumping ground?) for stuff related to the social sciences, at least so far as I have an eye on ‘em, along with whatever tangentially related stuff I can find and whatever else I care to post. One of those things, in other words, called a blog.
Why ‘zeitgeist?’ Because it’ll be full of of-the-moment stuff (usually five minutes to a month late). Crisis, scandal, and long, boring hours picking through Google Scholar included. Along with lots of tasty web junk–the saturated fat, refined carbohydrates, and mechanically separated meat of the academic and non-academic diet.
