Welcome to ‘Hey Zeitgeist.’ This will be a venue (clearing house? dumping ground?) for stuff related to the social sciences, at least so far as I have an eye on ‘em, along with whatever tangentially related stuff I can find and whatever else I care to post. One of those things, in other words, called a blog.
Why ‘zeitgeist?’ Because it’ll be full of of-the-moment stuff (usually five minutes to a month late). Crisis, scandal, and long, boring hours picking through Google Scholar included, I hope. Along with lots of tasty web junk–the saturated fat, refined carbohydrates, and mechanically separated meat of the academic and non-academic diet.
